Great historic hotel, old timer with lovely painted glass windows in dining room, great for breakfast. Hotel is now updated: computer with free wifi in reception area, and wifi in rooms. Large comfortable rooms, well located near to main shopping area and Cathedral and parks. some old fashioned hospitality, though you now have a machine for coffee in the restaurant,... More

Although this hotel has been renovated it still retains it's charm. It is only a 5 minute walk from the city centre. We travelled from the airport by bus and it took only 20 minutes to walk from the bus station. The whole hotel is spotlessly clean. Rooms were made up early in the day with clean, thick towels and... Stayed here for a weekend with 7 friends. It is a very good 3 star hotel, just minutes walk from the main centre and train station. Cost £20 from airport in a taxi. Breakfast is fine. I would say this hotel was a safe bet. The taxi driver said it was the 3rd/4th best hotel in the city.

The hotel is very well located just opposite to a beautiful park, not far from the city centre. The historical building has been recently renovated and rooms have got new bathrooms and equipment. A big buffet breakfast, with a plentiful choice of international and regional food and even sparkling wine, is the hotel’s strong point.

Very dated interior, with cheap finishings. The staff were not especially friendly, there was no one to help us with our bags. In the room it was very hot and stuffy, and the bed extremely uncomfortable, I had one of the worst nights sleeps for a long time. On the plus side it is very close to the centre of... More

Excellent service, kind staff, sumptuous breakfast, parking place under 24-hour cctv, located in the peaceful neighbourhood within walking distance to the very heart of Zagreb. I needed a charger for my cell phone (didn't bring it with me), the receptionist made unbelievable efforts to provide me with one.

The hotel is old glory, but this adds to its charm only. Well maintained, spotlessly clean. Staff is friendly and forthcoming. The food is great, both the breakfast table and the restaurant. The restaurant is actually quite special with its no-nonsense, well-balanced menue. live music and moderate prises. Add to it the walking distance to pretty much everything important in... More

When you see the hotel from outside, you see that it is wonderful. but the first problem is to find a car park, its really hard, than after 15 min, you get a place at the carpark near hotel. Secondly, when you get in to your room, if it is a smoking room, you can smell the smoke while you... More

The experience of staying in an old palace was appealing but the reality is that the room was small and a little run down with that old musty stale smell. I don't think the hairdryer had been used for some time - but the staff did replace it with a usable one quite promptly. The location of the hotel is... More

The palace Hotel is a cozy hotel in the heart of Zagreb. You can explore the city by feet from the hotel. It's just a few minutes walking away from the main railway station and the tram stop is in front of the hotel. In the hotel you can feel and smell the atmosphere of the good old times. The... More
