We booked the hotel for three nights but definitely where disappointed, there is a huge difference between the pictures on their site and what it really is. Maksimir is just a few tram stops from the center, in a courtyard in an old villa Pleasant rooms, free wi-fi, huge breakfast. Staff were very, very, very helpful--they even helped me order a special birthday cake for my son and had it delivered! We also loved huge Maksimir Park a few blocks away. We'd stay there again.
