Possible to stay if you need only to spend a night ...better to check in late evening when it is dark outside -not to see the room at daylight! At the moment there are construction works on the fasade...so rather dirty near the hotel... Hotel itself - old, dirty, dark... reception unfriendly, checking you in with such a face impression... If you want to tast the old Soviet feel, do visit Belarus and pick this hotel, although I must admit that the staff were friendly in general which was not always the case in the Soviet Union era. As mentioned by others, the hotel is really outdated. The shower did work every day to my suprise. I expected it to... More

Yubileinaya is the correct name, a typical soviet era place, dark, seedy entrance lounge leading to night club and strip joint, rooms old soviet style but passable and quiet at night.Nearby some eateries although avoid Tractir, rips off foreigners. 10 mins to old town, there is even an Irish public 15 mins away, haggle like mad with taxi drivers, hotel... Standard hotel, but Belarus style, which means stained furniture and carpets. Beds seem clean. For a single room they have economy class and superior . Tried them both and I fail to see the difference. Economy is 66 US, superior 91 US. I haven t seen any other hotels in Minsk but I consider this one to be overpriced. Parking... More

I booked this Hotel before reading some of the reviews. After reading them I was a little worried about my stay. Suprisingly it wasn't that bad. The staff were OK, The gentlemen serving in the bars were extremely friendly. Wether this was because we were 2 young girls i'm unsure. First impression walking into the reception it seemt nice. We... More

My first visit to Belarus. My general impression was it is a fabulous place full of genuine, hospitable people - apart from this hotel that is. To sum up the hotel, it is a rat hole full of unhelpful, obstructive, ignorant, aggressive (yes aggressive !!) people. I only met one member of staff that deserved any recognition - the rest,... Hotel Yubileny has a good location close to the city centre. Rooms are clean nice. Nice staff. The restaurant used 80 minutes to prepare our diner. The food was ok.

This is a nice, basic hotel; the hallways and the furniture in the room are outdated, for western standards, but everything works properly. Rooms are not noisy, and come with a TV set that also includes CNN and 2 German channels. Location is good - short walk along the main road to the city centre, or you can walk along... More

The hotel is a tall typical Soviet style hotel building next to the river Svislach. The hotel is located at the Pobediteley avenue which is one of the main roads leading to the city centre (where it changes name to Lenina street). The "old town", Island of Tears and the Cathedral of the Holy Spirits is reached within about 10... More
