A perfect combination of rustic luxury and authenticity. Staying at Urubamba Villas was indeed one of my trip´s highlights. These charming villas nestled in a beautiful setting are surrounded by natural gardens, orchards and Andean landscapes. Villas have been carefully furnished with local crafts and offer large spaces. The place gives a sensation of peacefulness, privacy and flexibility. Ideal for... More

This was fantastic. There are only a handful of individual villas on site - we had a two bedroomed, two storey villa to ourselves with our own housekeeper who cooked us a fabulous dinner and breakfast. She was very discrete arriving at an agreed time via a private door so as not to distrub us. The villa was luxurious -... More

We spent three days at the Urabamba Villas and I am hard pressed to highlight what I liked most -- while the villas themselves were the perfect combination of a beautifully appointed warm spacious peruvian country house and a wonderful luxury guest retreat, and the surroundings of the Sacred Valley were stunning -- I think that our favorite memory is... BEAUTIFUL! Both the casitas and the environment. Excellent home cooked meals – prepared by your “maid” – allows you to sample many traditional Peruvian dishes and Peruvian wine. A bit secluded, but very romantic. Great altitude for acclimation (lower than Cusco). Not within walking distance to the city of Urubamba, but after a quick taxi ride we determined there wasn’t... We spent 3 nights at the villas - very large and comfortable for a couple. Each villa has its own chef/cleaner, who cooks local dinner and a healthy breakfast (but no consultation as to what the guests would like for dinner). Sitting next to the log fire listening to (on an anicent CD player) to your choice of music after... More

Read a book close to the fireplace while Bertha is cooking a delicious papa a la huancaina with the vegetables from their own garden. She will sing for you in Quechua and become your aya fduring your stay. Personalized service, the most comfortable beds, excellent homemade cooking in a perfect location. More

There are only a few villas. Each villa is large and comes with a cook and driver. The service is above and beyond and the villas are very nice. The cook will make whatever you wish. In the evening, you can enjoy sitting beside a nice fire to relax with a bottle of wine. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. More

We stayed at the Urubamba Villas for two nights. Our villa was great-- It was very cozy, rather spacious. Urubamba Villas offers a great setup for a family, or large group of travelers. We enjoyed a full breakfast and dinner that the staff prepared for us in our villa each day. It was a perfect way to start and end... More

In our way to Machu Picchu we stay 2 days in this place. Urubamba Villas is like a home away from home! Francisco, the manager and Sonia, the housekeeper were there to welcome us with cake and tea after one and a half hour ride from Cusco. Inkaterra has excellent personal and we had a wonderful time resting and visiting... More
