I spent a single, horrendous night at the lodge. I am a 25 year old male with fairly modest hotel expectations, but this place was horrible. This hotel was (shockingly) recommended to me by my Inca Trail tour company. The people at the front desk were terribly rude and so unaccommodating that I actually felt a bit unsafe. Since it... Stayed here as part of a tour when visiting Machu Picchu. We must have had about 12 rooms all together for our group and there were definitely mixed feelings about the place. Personally my room was ok...VERY basic, old beds which squeeked every time you turned over and the only plug was in the bathroom, BUT my room was clean.... More

We stayed here as a part of a tour. I was our favorite part of the trip. The room consist two rooms connected by a small sitting area. This was perfect as we were traveling with our three small children. The breakfasts were great, there was plenty of hot water and the views were amazing. The kids will never forget... More

We enjoyed our stay in this lodge, convenient for visiting the ruins and town with lovely views of the surrounding mountains. Room adequate and equipped well enough. It was spoiled though in a number of ways by a surly receptionist, dogs running in and out of the kitchen, dog muck left festering on door mat by our bedroom, staff too... More

We stayed here for 1 night before doing the Inka trail. The stay was included in our tour package so I'm not sure how much we actually paid for the room... The lodge was very nice and clean... the room was spacious and bright, showers were good... the breakfast was nice too. We were the only 2 guests at the... More

This was part of a tour package so I don't know what we paid for the room. The hotel is a block or two from the main square and is not much too look at from the outside. Inside they have a nice courtyard which is well kept. No other guests the night we were there. Room was small but... More

We stayed in Ollaytantambo for one night at this hotel after visting M.P. We were worn out after the early morning out and about, and got to the hotel mid afternoon. The surrounding area of the hotel was a little rough, but as three women traveling together we felt safe once we were inside the grounds. The courtyard was cute... More

Decent hotel well situated for the start of the Inca Trail in the village of Ollantaytambo. The village itself is small and attractive, and includes one of the most famous Inca archaeological sites. I imagine most travellers wouldn't spend more than a night here, because of the location, but it's certainly a good place to stay if you're heading for... More

We recently stayed at the Ollantaytambo Lodge in the charming village of the same name. The rooms where generous in size and our view was of the surrounding mountains. The front desk was very helpful when we needed help. Nowhere did we find many hotels that took a credit card, as was the case here. We were treated to a... More

As you can surmise from the other reviews, this hotel is hit or miss, but it seems like the misses are very big. The first room we were given was infested with mosquitoes. I went to the front desk to ask for a new room and before I said anything the guy said "Do you have the bugs?". He tried... More
