Located 5 minutes from the main plaza and just minutes from the train station for your trip to or from Machu Picchu, the Hotel Pakaritampu is ideally situated for those seeking tranquility and beauty at a reasonable cost. The hotel is composed of individual buildings: restaurant/bar/meeting room, front desk and administration and guest rooms. The landscaping is extraordinary in this... More

We stayed here for two nights while touring the Sacred Valley. The rooms were clean and well appointed. The grounds of the hotel are spectacular. Very well manicured gardens, with three Inca like terraces with plenty of outdoor sitting area if you just want to park yourself in a chair and read or watch nature. We were there in May... More

We stayed here in April 2012. The rooms are as you would expect. Nothing special but the grounds and the lounge and restaurant area a lovely. Great location right near the train station and an easy stroll up into the town center for dinner. We had a wonderful time here and Ollanta was one of our favourite places in all... More

My father, sister and I just stayed in this hotel and found it quite nice. The rooms are nothing spectacular, but are clean and have all the basic amenities. The grounds are lush and beautiful and the whole place seems warm and inviting. The front desk was helpful with everything we needed and you're about as close to the train... More

This hotel is wonderful, the surrounding scenery is breathtaking and the alpacas grazing in the grounds add a very special touch. I stayed at this hotel with my mother and sister prior to a visit to Machu Picchu, it is only a very short walk to the train station where you get the train to Aguas Calientes and on to... More

This was my favorite hotel in Peru. The window in our room opened to the lovely little creek and gardens. We slept to the sound of the little creek (and otherwise quiet) and woke up to see alpacas grazing in the little garden behind the room. Spectacular view and nice breakfast. Very short walk from there to the train to... More

The Hotel is set amongst beautiful gardens with native Peuvian flowers with Llamas grazing on the lawns. The rooms are tastefully furnished with great views of the mountains. Be sure to ask for a room with mountain views. There is no heating or airconditioning in the room which could be a problem at certain times of the year. The hotel... More
