We stayed at this charming hotel for two nights while touring the Sacred Valley in Peru. The grounds and rooms were beautifully maintained, the staff were friendly and helpful and the location was perfect. The best thing going for these accommodations, however, is the wonderful husband and wife team who own and manage the property ( ... and their fantastic... More

My wife and I and another couple spent two nights last week at the Hostal Samanapaq. James and Jennie did everything they could to make us comfortable and welcome. Their driver Hector picked us up at the Cusco airport and took us to Chinchero, Maras and Moray on the way to the hotel. The breakfast buffet was the best we... More

People that own this hotel are ultra nice. Breakfast is great. We left for machu picchu one day at 6 and the owners woke up to make us breakfast. I enjoyed staying here. Only thing: they dont have tv's and wifi is only in the hotel check in area.

We stayed 2 nights at Hostal Sananapaq. It was very clean and accommodating. The owner did not speak the best English and we spoke very little Spanish but we had no trouble communicating. The breakfast was more than you could eat and the location of the hotel was really convenient. Make sure you ask for a heater for your room... More

After spending many weeks in horribly average 3 star hotels in Peru coming here was amazing! There was a warm welcome from the owners upon arrival who were more than happy to help with any request. The rooms were comfortable and cosy and the shower was the best I had in a month of traveling Peru! Not to mention the... More

We had a great time at hostal Samanapaq. The location is excellent with the pinkuylluna ruins behind us and the ollantaytambu ruins a short walk away. The breakfast spread was great, the room clean and cosy. It is a little dark inside the room but since we spent most of our time exploring the beautiful surroundings this did not matter... More

We stayed 4 nights in Hostal Samanapaq in March and really enjoyed our time. Our hosts were super lovely and helpful, even though we don´t speak a lot of Spanish and they don´t speak a lot of English. The location of the Hostal was perfect, just a short walk away from the town centre but far enough away not to... More

Samanapaq has it all. Jaime and his wife are so excited to have you there, they'll do anything to make your stay truly memorable. Every evening Jaime made me a fire in one salon while my husband sat in front of a wide screen TV in another. Every morning they hosted a gigantic breakfast with the most gracious service we've... We were a walk up with a question do you have a room? The enthusiasm was fantastic. James our host showed us more than one room and around the property. Our room was large with 4 luxury pillows on a beautiful bed and heavy cotton sheets which were perfectly laundered. An Incan shaped door way into a piping hot shower.... More

Stayed here for two nights and found the place lovely. The owner is a very charismatic, funny and kind old guy who helped us arrange a trip around the sacred valley and was always concerned that we should get enough food (which was never an issue, as the breakfast buffet is plentiful and they offer fresh fruit the entire day)....
