My bride and I spent a few days here to recover from our wedding and to adjust to the altitude before starting our Inka Trail trek. A wonderful, relaxing, out-of-the-way atmosphere combined with easy access to Pisac. The food was amazing, the dogs were friendly, and the local waterfall made for a perfect light introductory hike. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I believe the highest rated hotel in the world is a 7 star, but the Green House Peru is without a doubt an 8! My husband and I could hardly catch our breath when we first arrived. We were there the first week of April and the garden was in full bloom, the weather was perfect and the river next... More

Let me tell you the one bad thing up front: if you stay at the Green House on your first full day in Peru, as we did, it will SPOIL you for the rest of your trip! We tend to be hard-charging travelers who want to go-go-go and see everything -- but like a lot of people, we needed that... More

The welcoming dogs, the gracious hosts, the stunning mountains, the beautiful gardens, the relaxing hammock, the outstanding food, the lunch delivery service, the spotless rooms, the hot water bottles tucked under your bed, the proximity to everything in the sacred valley...the list goes on and on. We wished we could move in! Thank you Green House for a weekend we... More

The hosts, Brian and Gabriel, make you very welcome in this part of the beautiful Huaran Valley. The property is off the main road but provides a lovely rural setting with a gorgeous garden. Guests eat together for breakfast (included) and dinner ($30 per head) and both home cooked meals were excellent. The bedrooms have attached bathrooms. Internet is only... More

Thank you for your feedback regarding our hotel. We normally don't reply to our reviews but we thought it was good in this case to avoid any confusions. We are located in the Sacred Valley in a town called Huaran one block from the main road that goes from Pisac to Ollantaytambo. The hotel is well know for being off... More

Our family had the pleasure of staying two nights at the GreenHouse in between our visits to Lake Titicaca and Machu Picchu. All three rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable, and what a delight to have such a lovely dinner cooked for us at night after traveling during the day. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, the food delicious, and... More

The Green House lived up to every expectation I had. With all the rave reviews, there is always a chance of being disappointed. But Gabriel and Bryan, the girls and the dogs were amazing and their place is indescribably beautiful - there is no better place to relax and absorb nature. Breakfasts and dinners are outstanding. I've never been so... More

Loved hearing about this place via word-of-mouth while in Cusco...and then being able to stay for a couple of nights during our week in the Sacred Valley. Such a special place...and still feels somewhat off-the beaten-path. We loved the dogs, the food, the garden, the spacious room, and the owners!! Can't say enough great things about The Green House!

We visited the The Green House in October of 2011 after noting that its reviews were all written in superlatives. We now understand why. The accomodation is excellent, the ambiance wonderful and the cooking superb. Were we to plan another trip to he Sacred Valley we would make more use of The Green House as a central point on which...
