We stayed in Aquisito at the beginning and end of our trip - we found it comfortable, safe and very well placed for Barranco and Miraflores. Hot water was a bit sporadic but this wasn't a problem as it was warm. The staff were always very helpful with arranging our outward travels or picking us up from the airport, with... More

Aquisito is a very clean, hospitable and overall great place to stay in Lima. It is only a couple of blocks from the most beautiful area of the city where you can walk along the flower-lined cliffs facing the ocean with incredible views (don't miss the sunset!). Very safe area at night and close to all public transportation and taxis.... More

The Aquisito hostal in Barranco - coastal district of Lima - is very private and quiet. Malisa, the owner, is an amazing person as are all the other people who work there. It's a small place, off the beaten path, very clean and friendly. Nice bedrooms and a nice common area for eating breakfast or using computer. Also a little... More

I stayed in Aquisito when I arrived to Lima and when I returned from travel within Peru. Everyone is very nice and helpful! The place is very clean. Walking distance to sites in Barranco and a grocery store.

Everybody advised me to stay in Miraflores which I did, at first, But as soon as I visited El Barranco I wanted to change location! I was pleased to find Aquisito. They put me in a very spacious room for a single price (55 soles) and were so kind and welcoming, especially Laura. Shower great, internet connection and computers to... More

I stayed here at the tail end of my trip to Peru. The location is fantastic! And the owner despite language barriers was extremely helpful. The room was small but very clean. A great value in the heart of Lima.

This family-run B&B is in Barranca, an old residential part of Lima, and is a good place to stay because it is spotlessly clean, the rooms are large, the breakfast is delicious, they provide info and ideas about what to see and do, and they are all very kind and helpful. It is a quiet haven compared with the noisy... More

We stayed at Aquisito several times, as a base for travels around Peru. It is good value accommodation, in a nice part of Lima, close to busses, shopping, galleries, restaurants and grocery stores, and has a pleasant homey feel. Lima is a noisy place, but in the grand scheme of things Aquisito is fairly quiet, but try for a room... More

I spent three nights in Aquisito. It is a quiet place, located in fairly quiet neighborhood, about two blocks from busy-traffic street. I had hard time finding the place (It has no sign but only a small house number ... on a street with strange building number system.....) There are few decent restaurants within short walk distance. The lovely ladies... More

This place is amazing! It's in a quiet area of the city, close to nice restaurants, lovely ocean views. The woman who runs it speaks English, and was extremely helpful in planning some sightseeing in Lima. She sent us to an excellent restaurant that was non-touristy, with amazing ceviche! The rooms are super clean, and have reliable hot water. There... More
