Fantastic atmosphere inside the hotel as other reviewers have said problem is the area at night really is ugly and I felt stuck there.. nor much food around either.

Cool hotel with interesting roof terrace. Excellent location in historic district. Great value. Not the Hilton, but recommend it for the budget traveler.
As said in the title, the hotel's facilities and services, theirselves, aren't particularly good.
Fair beedrom and bathroom. It was ok.
Now, if you are in a budget, a backpacker, you might find this hotel very good, since you might appreciate things such as the view you get from the balcony (and some rooms) where you have breakfast , the...

we spent a night there and i liked it as usual! the only thing that wasn't so great was the noise, but well everywhere in peru is noisy!

This magnificent property in the middle of old Lima could be so good with a bit of love and insect repellant. Close to all the palaces and main museums it is terrific for the young - or just physically able - as getting up and down the stairs with your suitcases was quite a chore for us 50+ers. Laundry and...

based on rrrip advisor reviews I decided to stay in central Lima around the plaza de armas. This hotel is in a great location and the Senora was able to organise great value tours, including a private car to Nasca and flight return same day) for just over 300 USD - as much (or less) as other companies wanted to...

The decision to stay in the city center was based on our plan to take the train to Huancayo. From Hotel Espana the main station is only two blocks away, and nearly all the cultural sights in the city center area are in walking distance.
I have read many so-so reviews of Hotel Espana before but decided to give it...

We spent one night in a double room with private bathroom. Unfortunatly, our room was right in front of a shared bathroom, and the noise light isolation between this shared bathroom and our room was poor, and make our room quite smelly too... We also can hear the TV of the other rooms...
Good points are the location and the...

The place was cold and the showers were poor. There was no toilet paper in the toilets and I was told to buy my own. I found the reception staff rude and not professional. Location was pretty good. There was no where to store your valuables. One of the women working in the front desk was also sleeping in the...

Although I enjoyed the tranquility of Miraflores, Hotel Espana is at an ideal location, in central Lima, for site-seeing. In addition to its central location, the hotel itself is worth checking out for its design and hodgepodge of art. The staff is very helpful, especially with providing instructions for travels outsides of Lima. You can also go onto the roof...
