Lovely little hotel tucked away off the main streets in Miraflores. Has a really nice little court yard which most of the rooms overlook. Had a room on the ground floor and was pretty dark but room was comfortable with a large bathroom. Hotel is situated in the busy, upmarket area of Miraflores, need to get a cab to the... More

Attractive external appearance and a lovely courtyard inside. The rooms are a decent size and functional. The beds are somewhat hard but after trekking and sleeping on the ground they were luxurious! A basic breakfast is available from 6:30 -10am. The staff were helpful. Free wifi which works well in the lobby area. The hotel is convenient for Miraflores with... More

We stayed there before a GAP trip and again before flying home. It was ok - clean enough but basic. The service was almost non-existent, but not rude so that was fine. The courtyard is quite nice. Close to the shopping area in Lima but far from the Old City.

We stayed here for 2 nights prior to a Gap Adventures trek. We were a bit dubious after having some read some not so great reviews but it was more than adequate for the price. It's a pretty building and has a very pretty little courtyard in the middle which adds to its charm. The rooms were pretty dark inside... More

We stayed for only one night as part of a G Adventures tour. Pleasant appearance from outside, has a nice interior courtyard where you can sit and catch some sun, hotel was also very quiet. Room was basic but seemed clean - cod do with a new carpet and a lick of paint though. Wifi was Fred and kid signal.... More

It's an "ok" room in an "ok" hotel. Quite unremarkable really, just very "standard". The bed was comfy, the room as a good size, everything seemed clean and tidy. I can't think of anything good or bad to say about the place!

Only stayed in this Hotel for a night pre GAP trip! We arrived late in the evening and tried to find information regarding meeting our GAP group the next morning. The staff insisted it was 7am departure although we later found a noticeboard saying 6.30am...beside reception. We were in a triple room on the ground floor which had the appearance... More

We stated at La Castellana for two night at the beginning and end of a GAP adventures trip. It quickly became clear the GAP don't spend a lot on hotels and this was probably the best we stayed in. The hotel is quite tired and hasn't been updated for some time. Whilst we found it reasonably clean, the walls &... More

I stayed here for two nights after first arriving in Peru while on a GAP trip and it was okay. Cons: Worst shower I had the whole trip. Hot water was there, but all it was was a trickle. No heaters for cold nights. Kind of dark in the rooms Pros: I liked the area of the hotel a lot... More
