This stylish hotel is built around a series of small courtyards, some with fountains. Our (superior) bedroom was not large but was comfortable and clean. The standard bathroom includes a hairdryer. There was a extensive choice of hot and cold food for breakfast and the hotel has a cozy bar area. It is situated in a small square by a... More

We stayed here for 1 night, our "layover" before heading to Urubamba. It's about 10 minutes walk from the main square so it was pretty convenient. The room we got 206 was a nice size room. But the only thing that I didn't like was how the window faces the road and so I could hear the cars. Doors and... More

A very good hotel to stay in when planning to go onto Machu Picchu. The location was convenient and in my experience, quiet. The second time I stayed I was in a corner room near a stairway. I thought it might be noisy but was not. It is a charming hotel with a great bar (and tapas) and lobby for... More

Great place, people and country. We had a fabulous time, treated with the utmost in professionalism, courteousness and politeness. The service was faultless and impecible. Everyone worked very hard to ensure our stay was perfect. Vincente and Wellington were hospitalable and made us feel right at home. The new in-charge (only 1 week on the job; sorry I forget your... Like several other reviewers, my wife and I stayed here as part of an organized tour group visiting the Galapagos Islands. The building itself is quite old and worth wandering through as it contains several nice interior courtyards, thick old walls and stone floors. The hotel is a in a very good location for walking around the older parts of... More

This is the type of hotel you dream about when on vacation. The building is done in the colonial style with a series of charming courtyards around which are the rooms. The building dates back to 1599 and you feel you are staying in a Spanish colonial art museum with large religious canvases throughout, but with modernized rooms and plumbing.... More

We stayed in this hotel twice during our recent trip to Peru, one night before we visited Macchu Pichu and two nights afterwards. The first night we stayed we were allocated a first floor room with no external windows, the only window being a small window overlooking the internal courtyard, The room was situated just at the top of stone... Why this beautiful hotel isn't in the top three is beyond me. The service, location, and setting were wonderful. The historic center do town is only a 5 minute walk. The hotel it's self is comprised of 4 historic villas, connected by a maze of walkways, past gorgeous patios with fountains, art, large wooden tables and chairs. Yes, you will... More

Lobby and restaurant area were beautiful. THe room was tiny and the bathtub was disgusting - a film of shampoo and conditioner! It had not been cleaned in a long time. Cusco is an old city and the major hotels in older buildings. There is no excuse for not having a clean restroom. ALso, don't expect any ventilation system. Would... More

Great family hotel a short walk from the centre of Cusco. We used the hotel as our base for five days and loved it. Rooms were very quiet, clean and tidy. Breakfast was reasonable. We had dinner there twice for convenience, and both times thoroughly enjoyed. The trouble is there are plenty of other great food destinations in Cusco. The... More
