We stayed 2 days before our Inka trail trek and the 3 days after. The rooms were cozy and I was quite surprised to find American tv shows on the tv. The bed were comfortable and the down comforters made all the difference as the mornings and evenings were a bit chilly. The showers took a few minutes to get... More

Our family of four spent one night at this lodge in late March. Location is good about 15 min walk from main square with great views of the city from lodge balconies. Breakfast is juice, eggs, coffee or tea and fruit salad. Our room was crowded with four beds and located right above the breakfast area. We asked for a... More

I have been working outside of Cusco for the last couple of years, so I make regular trips through that town. I always try to stay at the Amaru 2 when I need a hotel in Cusco. It is a great deal for the money, lovely rooms, good breakfast, lovely little garden that has wifi reception. During the rainy season... More

This was a great affordable place in Cuzco…pretty views, great helpful staff, very clean, nice rooms, easy to walk to everything…was really happy with everything. Wifi worked well, coca tea was always out and hot showers.

Our group of 6 rented 3 rooms for several nights before hiking the Inca Trail and one night after our return. Originally we were disappointed to not be booked at Amaru I, but found Amaru II was on a quieter street and just a short walk to restaurants and the Plaza. All our rooms were very nice and their are... More

This place is amazing! Much more expensive than most hostals but so worth it. It's setting and view is lovely and our room was big and spotless. Staff were helpful as even lent us guide books to plan our trip. Great Place!

It gets really cold here at night and so the down comforters were really helpful. The beds were fantastic, and even though we had fun days planned it was hard to get out of bed! Showers were open and huge but the bathrooms got musky and humid really fast. If the bathrooms were a little better ventilated it would have... More

We really enjoyed our stay. A lady named Veronica was very helpful and pleasant. The only hiccup was when they forgot to pick us up at the train station coming back from Aguas Calientes. Great stay though.

This hostel was nice, clean and close to everything. The only bad thing about the place was that we had reserved a shuttle to pick us up and our flight was delayed by an hour and we didn't think we would have to call to let them know. When we arrived to Cusco from Lima we find out our guy... More

I cannot say enough good things about this hostel. We booked into a privated double room and we got one with a little balcony and couch that looked over Cusco and the hostels private gardens. (It is up a hill 5 minutes from the Plaza but conveniently located and quiet) I unfortunately had altitude sickness and the kindness of the... More
