Good location, nice lobby, excellent breakfast. Room was OK. Front desk staff not too helpful. The "view" from our room's window was of a blank wall. We were there as part of a tour; had we spent a lot for our room, we would have been very annoyed.

From the train station is a bit of a drive but when you get there is paradise. Beautiful hotel, great food, the staff are great. We only spent 2 night s there and the location couldn't be better. Fifteen minute walk to the main square. The only issue I had with Cusco was the traffic. No matter where you went... More

This is a very classy hotel. The hotel lobby is huge with lots of natural light from the glass roof and some enormous flower arrangements. A cosy place to rest or read or watch other guests. Coca tea is always available and oxygen is free for guests. Breakfast is included and is very generous with eggs done to your liking.... More

The location is wonderful. The hotel was built on old Inca ruins and incorporates some of the old walls. You have to look at the hotel pictures. The food and service is wonderful They will help with transportation to the airport and to the train station. The hotel travel service will arrange city tours and day trips to the Sacred... More

My wife and I, stayed at this hotel for two nights. The hotel is in a building which was built on top of an old Incas foundation. The lobby is spacious and impressive. Our check-in was quick. While we waited, we were offered cocoa tea to help with altitude sickness. The rooms are very modern and furnished well. The bed... More

From the moment of your arrival until checkout, this hotel provided the most luxurious experience ever. The public rooms are beautiful with huge floral displays, changed daily. Individual rooms vary but are all comfortable. Other reviewers comments about the noisy traffic are valid but do not detract from the hotel itself - Cusco is a congested, polluted, noisy city and... The hotel is very unfortunately located in a "funnel" of constant traffic and toxic carbon emissions. At an elevation of over 3000 meters where the oxygen is rarified, one does not need the insane amount of CO2 in a very tight space. As I write this review I can hear the incessant stream of cars and buses outside. To top... More

The Libertador was one of my favorite hotel experiences ever! The property is beautiful--starting with the huge vase of flowers that greets you in the entryway. The location is excellent, being right across the street from the historic Iglesia Santo Domingo and about 3 blocks from Cusco's central square. The staff were extremely gracious and helpful. The breakfast--oh, the breakfast!... More

We stayed 4 nights at the Libertador and it was an excellent experience! Location: Superb. Very close to the Plaza de Armas, yet not on it so it is also peaceful (and for those who care to know: built on the foundations of an Inca palace). Very safe to walk back at night. However, keep in mind that partic. during... More
