Prior to arriving, I emailed the hotel to arrange for a free airport shuttle they advertised. They never responded nor was there anyone from the hotel waiting at the airport. Not a big deal since a taxi to the center of Cusco is just around $2 US. Reception staff were friendly and helpful; whether I needed a corkscrew or more...

I am a hotel owner from california so am difficult to please. This place is fantastic, same or better than good hotels in the usa. Staff speaks english and goes out of the way to help. Room and bathrooms are large, very clean. LCD tv's with lots of channels. Extremely satisfied and a great value,
The hotel is in a fantastic location, right near the main square and the Cathedral . We arrived earlier than expected but our room was ready for us and was comfy and quite adequate for our needs. We stayed for just one night then headed off for three nights to Machu Pichu and the sacred valley, the hotel were very...

I loved this hotel.
First of all, I loved the environment: the hotel is in a renovated old colonial house just 2 minutes walking from the old central square of Cusco. It has a very nice "patio" which has been covered and is now a warm meeting and relaxing point to taste a traditional Mate de Coca-tea (which they will...

Awesome location but the rooms are dark, dingy with dusty floors and grimy bedspreads from the seventies. Looks as though it should have been updated about 20 years ago. Everything here feels dated and slightly dirty. My bed was a twin bed.
I really do mean 5 stars.
The staff ranging from the drive to the reception to the restaurant to housekeeping was exemplary.
We had missed our first flight & came into Cusco a good 3 hours later than expected. The poor driver had still waited for us & was nice enough to point out landmarks around town (We gave him...

Actually to be fair, the hotel is very well situated, the staff, were extremely friendly and helpful, and the room is quite nice for the area. So really you could have quite a nice stay here while in Cuzco.
The reason I give this place a low rating is because the management ripped us off on the airport transfer arriving...

We stayed at Los Andes de America for a few days in August and had a good experience overall. We arranged pickup from the airport and the driver was right on time accompanied by an English speaking representative from the hotel. As soon as we got to the hotel they offered us some coca tea to help ease altitude sickness...

We stayed here a couple of times on our holiday and had different rooms each time. The room on the second floor was quiet but overlooked a light well so we had to keep the curtains closed as others could have seen in as it was clear glass. The bed was large and comfortable.
The bathroom was long and thin...
