I stayed at El Tuco Hostel for several nights in May. The hostel is run by a friendly gentleman named George (Coco) who immediately makes you feel at home as soon as you arrive. He's really chill, knowledgeable, accommodating, and speaks excellent English. The rooms are very clean, as are the bathrooms. The facilities are good and as is the... More

El Tuco is an excellent hostel, rooms are very clean and the showers are nice and hot. The staff here is very friendly and offers great advice on what to do in cusco. It is a short walk to the main tourist area. I highly recommend this hostel.

El Tuco is a nice hostel, situated a 10 minutes walk from Plaza de Armas. The walk home is safe, even at night. We booked a dubble room with a private bathroom and stayed for 5 nights. These rooms come with free wifi, daily cleaning, daily clean towels, hot water shower, free pick-up at the busstation / airport and friendly staff.... More

El Tuco is only about 6 blocks from the center of Cusco (Plaza de Armas), but the environment changes a lot just a few blocks away. Here the street is dusty and a little challenging to cross, but the good thing is that outside of the touristy area you get a better feel for authentic life in Cusco, and of... More

It was a nice hostel where we stayed for 6 days around our trip to the Machu Pichu. We arrived at 6am, but could use the room when we arrived. The rooms were clean with comfy beds and the showers were hot. They cleaned everything during the day. The service was good and Coco and his staff helped us with... More

This was by far my favourite place to stay while in Peru. It was quiet and clean and the staff was helpful in every way. Coco has created a home away from home for travelers. It was worth the extra five minute walk from the plaza for some peice and quiet. It was also extremely safe. I would recommend this... More

Stayed here for three nights and couldn't recommend highly enough. The rooms are large and spacious and most with private bathroom. We have been travelling for 6 months and can easily say these are the best and hottest showers we have come across. Breakfast is bread rolls, jam, butter, coffee and various tea choices but extremely plentiful and never a... More

This was our first trip to Cusco and we could NOT have been happier with our hostel choice. This place is located about 10 minutes from the Plaza de Armas which is the focal point for all things touristy in Cusco. The location is excellent because the Plaza is accessible via walking or a 5 soles taxi ride. Three minutes... More

I can't say enough nice things about our experience at this hostel. Coco and his wife Anna Maria, are such wonderful people. They made us feel so welcome. The hostel is in a great location, about a 10 minute walk from the main square. It was quiet, very safe and also very clean. I would highly recommend this hostel for... More

The owner of this hostel Coco and his wife Anna Maria made our stay in Cusco wonderful. We arrived to El Tuco and they were so welcoming and told us to relax and that we were in our home now. We stayed two nights, and returned for a third night after our trip to Machu Pichu. The hostel was quiet,... More
