Ok, We got into town and had a guy from the bus station tell us about this great place to stay. The place looked OK at first but we soon learned that the hotel has NO hot water and the rooms are dirty. The toilet leaked on the bathroom floor so it was wet with water or pee all the... More

IF you need to get a hostal in Cusco make sure you have good references, as there are too many hostals and hotels and they mostly do what they want. The Machu Picchu is OK but in the few days that I stayed there one room didn't get hot water and a group of tourists that included one with an... More

I arrived at crack of dawn in the morning so really didn't have much of an option and stayed here. Shower pressure was really bad. the rooms by the street are super noisy. I bought a Machu Picchu tour package at the front desk and got completely screwed. And they weren't helpful at all when I asked to get my... More

This hostel was recommended to us by someone at a discount hostel. Due to this recommendation and the fact that it was low season, we were able to get our matrimonial room for $20. The rooms are usually $30. It has a good location, beautiful courtyard, and spacious rooms. Unfortunately, the service is lacking. The 2 main desk people we... More

Nice hotel with a pretty inner court. Price is negociable especially if you stay several nights. Unfortunately it is very noisy (walls are very thin and there is a bar/club next to the hotel). Breakfast is awful !
