Casa Ordonez is owned, operated by the Ordonez Family in Cuenca. Alberto is the manager & pricipal owner. His sister Inez works there and his mother lives there. A sister takes care of the bookings in Miami. My wife and I cannot say enough about the family and the excellent services provided. Alberto is always there willing to accomodate in... More

Back in February 2013, my wife and I left a very cold winter in Canada to arrive to a warm welcome at Casa Ordoñez. The house, which is centrally located, is beautiful, very clean and quiet. Since we arrived we felt at home, safe and well attended by the family and the staff. We will never forget the 10 days... More

From Perth in Western Australia to Cuenca is a long way. I was traveling alone on a reconnaissance trip with a view to retiring there with hubby later this year. I had left my booking until the last minute (silly) and was fortunate to find anything available at all because it was (unbeknown to me) Carnival - festival time, when... More

The moment you set foot in the door you will be impressed by the lovely 2 storey interior courtyard filled with charm and a peaceful ambiance, tucked away from the hustle and bustle. We received a warm welcome from Alberto and his sister Maria with offers of help for anything that we might need on our stay. We had a... More

I have stayed at the Casa Ordonez, every time I visit Cuenca. Alberto Ordonez and his family treat you like you are guests in their own house. My wife Kim and I love the daily breakfast and the fabulous treatment. We were lucky enough to be here at the Casa Ordonez, on March 15, 2013 when their "TripAdvisor 2013" award... More

My husband and I had chosen this hotel because of the remarks on this website. We had only booked one night because we thought we might look around Cuenca for a different hotel/location after exporing the city. However, after the first night, we booked our entire stay there. We did not look any further. The location is right in the... More

We stayed at Casa Ordonez for 5 days last Nov. The building is quite old and charming. It is located 2 short blocks from the Plaza. The property is very quiet, even though it is right in the middle of the city. This is a family run bed and breakfast. We were greeted every morning by our host, Alberto. He... More
