Did I say horrible enough? After traveling 36 hours straight from another South American country, I arrived at the Boutique Hotel Plaza Sucre at 1 AM only to be told there were no rooms available! I was being “walked!” They told me there was a plumbing problem affecting rooms on the 3rd floor. I found out later what the real...

We had an excellent experience at the Hotel Boutique Plaza Sucre. We spent a weekend there in early March. Staff were wonderful and could not do enough to help us (including carrying our bags up to the third floor, helping with flight arrangements and return to airport.) All with a smile! Their breakfast room is on the top floor with...

I have just realized that I had neglected to leave my review for this wonderful hotel. I stayed there for 5 nights, in November, 2011. It is located in the historic center of Quito, 2 -3 blocks away from the Presidential Palace. I had a lovely room with real wood furniture, very comfortable bed, TV with English cable channels, very...

Nicely located in the heart of Old Town. Close to all the things you need. Nice shopping areas close by. Smart rooms with comfy beds and nice pillows which makes a big difference. Friendly staff. Clean.
We stayed at this hotel for one night before and two nights after our trip to the Galapagos. We thought the hotel was exceptionally good value at about $40 a night.
The hotel is in a great location right in the heart of the old city and a short walk to many of the sights, including La Ronda which is...

We'd left a note in there that we updated every time we took money out and dated it and sure enough money has certainly been taken. Be warned. Hide your cash stash very well and don't use the...

We stayed at the Boutique Plaza Sucre in Feb. 2012 for 6 days. The hotel is in the downtown central area, a few blocks from the main plaza. Several of the nearby streets have been turned into walking malls and were very pleasant with small shops and eating establishments all around. The 4 story hotel (4th floor is the breakfast...

I stayed in room 206 for 2 nights and have to say you'd better bring earplugs - the voices from the lobby carry, and there was an awful 'ticking' sound somwhere in the walls that was just unrelenting. The staff was very friendly and spoke excellent English, and the location is hard to beat - in the heart of the...
