If you want to stay for a long time in Valparaiso, just go there. You will make a lot of friends (lot of them are Chilean students) and you will be just in the center of the city.

“Great hostel in Valpo”

I stayed at los Gaviotines with my husband, mom, and our 2 year old son for new years eve. Jaime was a great host and we felt very welcome in the hostel.
