We stayed in this delightful hotel for two nights in April at the end of our South American hoilday. The hotel was superb, friendly and helpful Gloria took care of all of our needs. She willingly provided expert advice on how to spend our time in Santiago. The rooms were spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. Breakfast were excellent and served... More

I stayed only one night, but wished I had stayed more!! (no room availability to complete my stay in Santiago). Great breakfast in the little quiet patio, just the perfect place to read the paper in the sun! I got one of the top floor rooms, it was spotless clean and tidy. I can say the same about the bathroom... More

We spent our last three nights on our extended holiday at the Vilafranca Petit Hotel in Santiago. The property is well-maintained and the staff and owner were cordial and professional. The rooms are small, the wood floors creak, but the location makes it a nice place to stay. Right now, they are dealing with construction across the street, so six... More

We had searched the internet for weeks trying to find the "right" place in Santiago. Something which was homely, quiet, convenient location, close to the subway and shops and restaurants, but somewhere where you felt welcome and safe. Vilafranca met all these requirements plus more. The friendly reception staff greeted us with open arms, showing us our room which was... More

Vivafranca is quite close to the metro. It is an elegant older home built in 1940 and lovingly furnished with original art, comfy sofas and great photo books of Chile to peruse in the living room. Out back is a great patio for relaxing. Gloria is a delightful and helpful host. This is a small hotel with about nine rooms.... More

What a great find Vilafranca was. While the room we had was compact, it had everything we needed. There was a lovely courtyard to relax in or a well-appointed living room to enjoy. Breakfasts were varied and ample. The location was central and allowed for easy walking to many locations and restaurants as well as a wonderful market only a... More

We spent three nights in March, 2012 at this bed and breakfast, our second visit since a year ago. It is a pleasant place in Providencia with comfortable rooms and a delicious breakfast which is different every morning. We got around the city on the superb metro system, enjoyed the many fine restaurants with in walking distance and explored various... More

We like small hotels and B&B's. One can not go wrong by staying at the Vilafranca Petit Hotel in Providencia (Santiago), Chile. Although the rooms are quite small, they are comfortable and clean. No AC but not needed. Gloria is a wonderful host, very accommodating. The breakfast was good. The hotel is walking distance to the metro, many restaurants, and... More

This petit/boutique hotel/hostal is a precious gem inside Santiago. Located in a nice area, on a walking distance from the subway station and restaurants. The ideia is to make you feel at your own home. Cozy room, antique furniture and exquisite decor. The service was great and made the short experience in Santiago even more pleasant. Highly reccomended!
