We stayed in a room in the back of the hotel. Comfortable, clean room. Reasonably quiet, but like any hotel in a majo city, I would still recommend ear-plugs for the light sleeper. Yes, the decor is odd, with small blocks of wood stuck on the walls and ceilings - still trying to work out what it all means. The... More

As others have said, the hotel is dated and very ordinary. We got a decent price deal but if you were paying rack rates for this hotel it would be a value for money disaster. But the killer is the air conditioing which does not work - either at all or hardly at all. You cannot open the room windows.... More

The hotel appears to be in need of a makeover. The room was dark with a strange decorum of small pieces of wood glued to the bathroom walls probably during the days of San Martin. Furniture looks old. No hair dryer. Noisy air condition unit. Central location though. Breakfast was not worth getting up early and braving the jet lag.

We spent three nights in this hotel last week. The first two were in the front wing. The room was tiny. There was mold around the bathtub. It was hard to believe Fodor's that this hotel had been renovated in 2007. The AC worked very poorly so we opened the window - which meant that we slept terribly because the... More

We have stayed here five or six times. This year we stayed 5 days. Great location. Wierd small rooms unless you get a suite in the adjoining building. A bit over priced for what you get. Excellant breakfast included. The decor is strange, they have nailed pieces of 2 x 4's to the ceiling of the rooms and the walls... More

I liked this hotel. It was in the centre of Santiago. The metro station is just around the corner and the main square, Plaza de Armas only 10 minutes away. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast has a lot of options. The room was quite nice and I didn’t notice ant noise, but one night the bed trembled... More

Just do your self a favour and do not stay here. Horrible noise from the street. Weird decor in the room and really dated in general. Dont know whos idea it was to glue 4x4 blocks of 2x4 to the walls but its dumb. The worst part is the noise of the city outside the street and the noise from... More

A good location by the University of Chile Metro Station. No parking at hotel but they give you a pass for a garage a block away. Santiago isn't car friendly so don't rent one if you are staying in the city. Use the Metro and the cabs. Staff at the hotel are quite courteous and helpful. Hotel was pricey at... More

Very disappointing, the pool is the smallest I have seen would be more better described as a large bath, the breakfast is not very nice and the majority of the staff I felt were quite rude. On checking out we asked for a taxi and they merely pointed to the door and said we could flag one on the street... More

We stayed at that hotel on August 13. The location was OK, next to the Santiago center. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The service room was excellent. We reserved everything from Interturis Buenos Aires and it was OK. Excellent wifi internet connection. Continental breakfast had a lot of options with black coffee, bread, fruits, cereals and everything fresh. Negative:... More
