A house converted to a hotel. We stayed in room 15. A very large room with a king sized bed. It faced the main street but with the double set of windows noise was not a problem. The minor annoyance were the beautiful but squeaky wood floors. Overall a great experience in a great location

We stayed for three nights in Mito Casa hotel. Overall it is a very charming hotel that is a nicely renovated older home. Their breakfast was also outstanding just as other reviewers have noted. The staff was very friendly and all spoke english and Spanish. Being an old home the floors are very very loud when someone walks on them.... More

Well situated in providencia, close to city center and restaurants and bars. Nice little hotel with very friendly staff (even though some staff members weren't reliable regarding information on bus city tours ... still very friendly). Warning, "small room" is actually VERY small !!!

We only had one night at this lovely hotel but would have loved to have stayed longer. The hotel and breakfast was amazing, as was the location but what made it for us were the staff. We had a bag stolen as we got to Santiago and had to leave the following day why did not give the police time... More

While staying at the hotel I made some last minute plane, train and hotel reservations for Machu Picchu. They were extremely helpful with scanning and emailing some documents needed for the train and with printing out tickets. I would have been sunk without their help.

We will recommend the Mito Casa Hotel to anyone who is travelling to Santiago. Aside from it's brilliant position and access to public transport, our room was comfortable and clean and the breakfasts great. However the best commendation is for the staff who were so friendly and helpful generally but also when I needed medical treatment for a dog bite received not... Good clean, and well decorated rooms (with very good shower / bathrooms). The location is good for transport links, and walkable to some of the more interesting bits of town. Would happily come back if in Santiago again.

Great staff, location and hotel. It was nice to eat breakfast in the outside courtyard. I stayed in a garden room. It was very small, but newly renovated making good use of the space. The hotel is really nice, & serve a great breakfast. All staff were lovely and the people who were on reception were extremely friendly & helpful.... More

This is a beautiful Art Deco house squashed amid tall modern high rise office buildings on a busy boulevard. We stayed at the beginning of our trip to South America and then again at the end. We first stayed in number 5 on the first floor at the front. Thought it would be really noisy but it was fine with... More

This hotel is situated close to a metro station but also in walking distance from the city center (Plaza de arms) and one of the two hills (Santa Lucia). We had a beautiful ample room with a huge terrace where we sat down at night when we came back from our city trips. Bathroom very new and modern (even with... More
