We booked this hotel on the basis of location and an extended check out time to break our journey between Australia and the UK. The hotel is situated directly above a MRT station making travel around Singapore very easy once you have mastered the ticketing machine. (Make sure you have change - coins or small value bank notes) The hotel... More

I recently stayed in the V Hotel Lavender with my partner. We had booked three nights here as part of flying back home to Australia from London. It was probably our bad luck, but we had incidents each night that led to both of us having a poor night sleep! I would recommend to anyone who intends to stay in... More

I was expecting a small room after reading reviews, so didn't really surprise me. If you do want some space stay elsewhere. My friend and I chose this place purely for convenience. The Lavender MRT is directly below the hotel. Catching the MRT from the airport and to attractions around Singapore is a breeze. Bathrooms are tiny. Two complimentary bottles... More

Well first the good points. There is a new small gym with shiny equipment. The hotel is shiny and newish. Singaporeans do like shiny things. The hotel is right on top of Lavender MRT. In 10 minutes you could be in Raffles, and believe me, you will want to be somewhere else, anywhere but here.Because that's the good point dealt with... More

I paid US$150 for one night in the hotel version of a battery chicken cage. This is an terrible hotel in a so so location. Its a tourist hotel with tour buses outside and very full lobby. For business forget it. I hated everything about and didn't get much sleep because of the noise in corridors as people returned late... More

This was our second visit to the V hotel within 3 months, the first during Chinese New Year and the second in March. We decided on the V purely for location as it sits on top of the MRT. Pros: Great location on the MRT and the ability to go anywhere on the island safely. This helps as we have... More

The room was simple, clean, new and modern but our room was located in the elevator corridor which meant we heard people coming and going and their conversations too. It woke us up early in the morning as guests were leaving their rooms. I give it 3 stars because even though the room was in a bad location, we did... More

Stayed in this hotel as part of our company incentive group this month. The hotel is, high rise, 4 star good location as the Lavender MRT is right beside the hotel. The rooms are ok, good bed, good view (but the view in other rooms were not so nice). The most terrible thing though is the breakfast. They serve practically... More

I have stayed here as a business traveller and this review is primarily from a business traveller's perspective! The hotel's biggest advantage is the MRT station right below the hotel and the 24 hour food court next door - this makes it really convenient. The hotel is new, modern and that is another big plus. Rooms are small, but decent... More

To whom it may concern I travelled to Singapore for 9 days for a business/leisure trip. Due to the nature of my work I was with about 15 other people whom I work very closely with; some were on a budget, others were not. It was decided that we would stay at the V Hotel, Lavender. The room was not... More
