We have just spent one night at this boutique hotel in Singapore, The location is excellent. The area offers trendy bars and dining but is still in close proximatey to more "local" offerings. It is only a 5 minute walk to Chinatown, Maxwell and Amoy food centres. The location offers a great happening atmosphere. The room is quite spacious and... More

We spent 2 nights here at the end of our trip - we stayed in 5 Star resorts and paid the price for those before settling in here for our last 2 nights in Singapore. We chose this hotel as it is right down in Chinatown and after staying at the top end of town we wanted to be in... More

stayed at the Club recently 15th-19th April. agree with reviewer ginjose. interesting place - easy for tourism round chinatown/good variety of restaurants/bars. 2nd floor is the place to stay-less noisy. staff was helpful and friendly. No drawers/shelves in my room (can be easily corrected-make the safe smaller..).no comfortable place to sit outside of room, breakfast (at choco cafe) not very... More

I have stayed a the Club several times and return for many reasons, not least of all because its a bit eclectic and the rooms are unusual shapes and design, all decked out in Black and White as is the entire hotel. Its in Chinatown in an area of old buildings and boutique restaurants. You don't want to stay here... More

My wife and I stayed in this hotel in March 2012. We were deceived by its advertisement and photo that descript the hotel as 'boutique' and 4 stars. The truth is it is only a BUDGET hotel but it charged at a 4 start price. We paid 200USD for this hotel that in reality you can get a 50USD similar... More

I recently spent four days at The Club. It has a good location in the Chinatown area of Singapore and is close to a lot of clubs and restaurants. The room was large enough and clean, and the room had a great bathroom. I did notice that previous reviewers had complained about carpet stains, but I don't think that any... More

I'm a real fan of boutique hotels and always valued any one that wins a trip advisor award but this place is just really terrible. I arranged an early checkin and they'd forgot and had nothing for me, so I agreed to go and get some breakfast and come back in an hour once they made a room up. They... More

The hotel looks great in pictures but is tired and need of some TLC. Phones in rooms do not work, there are no amenities like hair dryers and electric conversion plugs, wash cloths etc. in rooms.

I thought that as a Tripadvisor selected hotel, that The Club would be remarkable in at least some way. I was disappointed. It has so much "could be" possibility but just doesn't try hard enough to make itself stand out especially right next to The Scarlett. Weaknessess - two days in a row, the rooms were not made when I... More

As a matter of fact: we spent 30 mins at the hotel and after the hotel management showed us a second room that was also worn down and shabby we decided to leave. It's supposed to be a new, stylish and hip boutique hotel, but has nothing but worn down interior: many ugly dots of spilled water, juice, whatever on... More
