I was excited when my friend got us a promo rate for The Tides for the summer season. I've always wanted to try this hotel ever since it opened some years ago. I thought it's the place I wanted to be. But when we actually stayed there, I was a bit disappointed. As always, it has some good and bad... More

Tides Boracay location was perfect for someone who looks for Metropolis feel in an island. It is situated in the middle of Station 2 where D'Mall is located. Location is good but for people who looks for serenity and privacy this is certainly not a place for you. If you are the happy type that wants the night life Tides... More

Having arrived late ( 3am ) we struggled to find accommodation at peak season. After hours of searching we came across The tides. What a find :) we booked into a large double room that was modern, clean and comfortable. I loved the little quirks on the walls throughout the hotel More

Stayed at the Tides hotel in Boracay a week ago - as frequent flyers in Asia (we are UK expats who live in HK), this was without doubt the WORST hotel experience we have had in 5 years. Don't be fooled by the alledged 4-stars, clever photos and "modern boutique hotel" descriptions. 1) the hotel is NOT on the beach,... More

This place is a boutique type hotel, which large rooms and nie clean bathrooms. The price is good for what you get. I wont eat the food again, but you are right in D'Mall so no need to stay at the hotel. The roof top pool is great, but off the beach a bit. We moved here from One Cresent... More

Stepping into The Tides feels like going into Shangri-La, as per Lost Horizon movie. Everyone is busy outside, but within the confines of the hotel, you'll find peace and quiet. Place is modern and clean. Staff are also very welcoming. The roofdeck pool is also secluded and impressive. However, the view from the roofdeck isn't spectacular; the view gives you... More

My kids and I checked in to The Tides for an overnight stay only but we were surprised that behind that unassuming entrance, everything inside was clean and surprisingly quiet, considering that it is located in the middle of the action. For the price, I think it was worth it. The rooms were very nice. Staff was gracious and attentive.... More

My husband and i have stayed at the Tides twice. Once in Low Season and once in Peak over New Years. We love the location, it is slightly set back from the beach so at night it is a quick trip back from the bars and restaurants but is nice and quiet in the rooms to let us sleep. For... More

It's just well advertise hotel. I thought it was really an extra ordinary hotel. But The room is not that spacious. The room is small. But it is clean. The location is nice. Nothing great. More

No complaints with the tides. About 2 min walk to the beach loads of restaurants nearby. Friendly staff great service. Wanted extra towels ring housekeeping towers are brought immediately. Always cleaning up despite people walking with wet sand on flip flops from the bit of rain. Would stay there again. More
