We checked in to Oops Bar cottages after moving from another disappointing venue off the beach and were pleased to arrive. This place is good value for money... The cottages are out the back and we opted for the one furthest away from the beach so that the noise didn't affect sleeping. This wasn't really needed though as it was... More

we stayed at the oops bar for two nights and really enjoyed ourselves. When we checked in and shown our room, we had a nit of an issue with the noise from builders behind the room. But when we asked if another room was available, we were shown to a nice, bigger room, and only a little bit more expensive... More

The reason for the one star is we were ejected one day earlier than we had originally booked! To be fair I had made a mistake in their booking form, which is similar to the airport ones with arrival and departure dates. I put in our airport dates and not the hotel dates, duh. This made the length of our... More

We love beaches/the water so our vacations are mostly on and in it. This would be our 2nd time on Alona, 4th in Bohol. Lots of new developments and improvements being done on existing resorts. We didn't stay in their resort but we made the mistake of choosing to have our dinner at their restaurant the night before we left.... More

It was my first time to stay in Alona Beach since we usually prefer Dumaluan part. It wasnt a bad idea since the beach was great and best part was OOps bar was situated right at the heart of Alona. I have heard so many raves about Oops bar and true they have exceeded expectations. food was sumptuous and really... More

The bar was good, I remember it was one of the 2 bars in the Panglao strip that closes late (2 a.m. is as late as it gets and 3 I think during weekends, this is bar time Bohol-style). If you go to Bohol, you must check their bar during nighttime as they have a "disco" night during Sat or... More

This is a gem of a place. Cottages are native style and I guess basic, but the owner has made nice touches like air fresheners in rooms and bathrooms. Very clean rooms and good modern fans. There was no hot water, not that you'd need it. Bottled water is provided in the room and a water cooler outside to top... More

We chose this hotel- because so far this is the cheapest and internet accessible Inn along Alona Beach. Their website is informative and gives you correct info and pics of their property. All 8 FAN rooms are made of native/indigenous materials. Rooms are located behind the bar but its STILL quiet and peaceful during night. What I don't like about... More

It was amazing change to our stay in Cebu (long term accommodation). Went there for 3 days and loved that from first sight! The restaurant-bar was serving the best food selection I had in Philippines during my whole stay there (2 months), drinks and cocktails were delicious. Coffee shop which is a part of it served really good coffee :)... More

Oops bar has 8 cottages and have their own restaurant. The cottage are fan room that are made of bamboo and looks like bahay kubo. Very reasonable price and a good place to stay. A night will only cost you Php 900 for single cottage and Php 800 for duplex. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The american breakfast... More
