Stayed 2 weeks at El Galleon last February and dived with Asia Divers. Good location. Resort is friendly and rooms are simple but comfortable. Food is good. Asia Divers dive center was outstanding. El Galleon Resort's staff and Asia Diver's staff went out of their way to provide great hospitality. The resort is located conveniently right on the water. The rooms lacked any drawer and shelf space, but were otherwise comfortable with good AC and ceiling fans. Chef Antoine spoiled us. The diving on Verde Island was outstanding. More

Obviously a great dive resort but for me as a non-diver it was probably the best fun I've had on holiday with friends. Difficult to explain in a short answer. The resort might be considered a little tired and basic by some standards, however, could be the best option in the area.
