The highlight of this hotel is the view. Our large room had a balcony overlooking the rice terraces. The decor was dated but the room was clean & comfortable. The pool looked nice. We only had breakfast here & it was more than adequate & the dining room had great views also. In the evening there was a cultural show... More

The only Hotel in Banaue, so you have no other choice. The Hotel was build in the 70ies and not renovated til then. The bathroom is really old and simple and not a nice place to stay. The carpets in the rooms have holes and the beds were old. Everything needs to be renovated soon. The Service was slow and... More

My family and I stayed decided to go to Banaue for our family vacation this summer. We chose Banaue Hotel and Youth Hostel since we need a full serviced hotel for our kids 11 and 4 years old, plus it has a pool. We had to travel 10 hours from Manila via San Jose, Nueva Ecija on board Ohayami Bus.... More

Certainly the nicest place in Banaue. A loge with a huge loby. The rooms are over the rice terrace. Clean and nice room with air conditioning. A good restaurant. We had a show with banaue native. In the morning we walked down by the hotel to a little village with native who sells souvenirs.

We stayed here in February for 3 nights. The Banaue is an old hotel, that had its best time long ago, there has clearly not been any investment in this hotel within the last 30 years. You can see and smell it in the lobby, in your room, in the bathroom. There is also a big problem with the electricity,... More

We spent two night at this hotel. I is a large place, with a large lobby and large rooms. When first built, it must have been the pride of Banaue. However, the hotel is in need of a major upgrade. The rooms have not been maintained, the carpets fraying, the bathrooms musty. Sound insulation was poor. The food in the... More

We visit the Philippines every year and this year we decided to tour Northern Luzon. After an 8-10 hour drive from Manila, we arrived at the hotel. It was like traveling back in time. The hotel is very rustic...being built back in the '70's. There are no elevators, so the staff had to carry our luggage up to our second... More

When you arrive, you feel like you should be entering a 3+ star local, but then you discover that there is no air conditioning, no television in the room, only a sheer for a curtain, and the walls are paper thin. We could hear our neighbor snoring! On a positive note, the view from the balcony overlooked the rice terraces... More

I STAYED THERE FOR 3 NIGHTS. i ENJOED VERY MUCH. gOOD FOOD, GOOD SERVICE. It is a little bit out from the center but for this reason it is very peaceful. The check in is done in a clever way. Families are settled separately, and there are two kinds of rooms : standard and luxe. It is vzry important because... More

My last visit in Banaue was in 1995... The hotel is exactly the same! At least it was maintained! In any other country in the world this would be a 5 star hotel with a spa overlooking the rice terraces. But government tourism promotion being what it is in the Philippines (the hotel is government owned), well it just remains... More
