We stayed six nights at this hotel: spacious room, our own small outside terrace (deluxe room), good beds and a very helpful staff. The pool is nice, the restaurant is really good and very reasonable priced and has a perfect atmosphere - a very nice spot to hang out. This hotel might not be on the side of the town... More

Relatively clean room, spacious, with A/C and free wifi. There's no kettle in the room, but the staff will provide you with hot water in a flask upon request. The blankets are very, very thin though. Looks unassuming from the outside, but it has a nice, cozy setting that makes you feel like home in the middle of nowhere. Staff... More

we stay for 2 night at this deluxe room hotel. Unique and traditional, is my first impression for this hotel. It is guest house, not hotel, so the room is not like a modern 3 or 4 star hotel, even the price is almost the same with. Overall hotel decoration is very old Javaness. Pool is good, but not for... I booked online directly to Rumah Mertua for two night stayed on January earlier in 2012. I arrived around 7pm, and the staff welcomed me well, they had prepared my room. it was luxury in the middle of small village in Jogja, I don't have any plan to going around in town, just to feel the relaxed atmosphere, and the... We stayed in Rumah Mertua for two nights. Via email we were confirmed of 3 deluxe rooms but upon arrival only 2 deluxe rooms were available and one family room. It was late when we arrived and being tired we just accept whatever was available on hand. We only got to change to the deluxe room the next morning. The... More

Travelled to Yogyakarta from 8th October to 12th October. Booked the family room and the Deluxe room with Pool View. There were renovation works by Rumah Mertua's neighbor during our stay but that didn't matter us much as most of the time we were not in the hotel. This place is definitely for couples. Clean, nice garden with romantic settings... More

We stayed in the nicest of their rooms and it was beautifully cozy and clean. Their standard rooms are simple and serviceable --and of course you would get the same great service that we received with the best room. All of the staff offer wonderful service in a quiet, friendly, unobtrusive manner. It was a breath of fresh air from... More

Booked deluxe room for 5 nights, but only stayed there for 2 nights. Didn't mind with the location since we rented car, but had some problems: - breakfast, they don't provide buffet breakfast, we need to choose from breakfast menu. They do provide fruits and snacks, but limited to the number of family member. - mattress is not comfortable (too... More

Unfortunately we had only stayed there for 1 nite as the other nights were fully booked. It was a nice, clean & cozy place. The staffs there were friendly too! I liked the decor of the rooms.... The only downside is that the place is far away from the eateries, and the food we ordered in the hotel was a... More
