This was a great base from which to visit the Borobodur and Prambanan temples and excellent value for money. I was the only guest staying there at the time and the staff there were extremely welcoming and helpful. Fresh melon juice as soon as I arrived, a beautiful little garden in which to have breakfast or relax and a lovely... More

place was hard to find as they didnt put any directory or sign. The room we booked was the smallest of three, but was efficiently decorated with warmth backwall color and sophisticated ornaments. Oddly, I had the best breakfast ever not because of the food but merely of the peaceful and charming garden around the site. The location was perfect... More

Went on three day/two night trip to Yogyakarta. Were really surprise how nice this place is, feel more like a home then a hotel. Rooms are very clean and modern, the staff is great and very helpful. Great place to stay and relax. Within walking distance of malioboro and 15 minute taxi ride to the airport. More

Strategically located. As soon as we arrived in Jogja, it only took 5 minutes walk from Tugu Station to get to it. A very nice and private environment. Friendly, helpful hotel staffs, they helped me to get the pedicab (becak) or cab to go around. Also gave a very good route trip tips. I loved the hotel garden. I will... More

Very well located in Yogyakarta. The girl that is managing the place is fantastic, friendly, helpful with good guidance and tips to plan your trip. There is also a travel agent within but there is no pressure to book something thru them as they understand that travelers also want different suggestions. We stayed three nights in the ‘deluxe room’ that... More

I spent less than 48 hours in Yogyakarta, the goal was to visit Borobudur and Prambanan. With the help of the great people of Rumah Boedi who planned everything I had the time to see the sunrise in Borobudur (wonderful) and visit other temples. The place is small with a very nice garden and terrace, you feel to be at... More

Rumah Boedi is about 2 minutes away from Malioboro Street by becak. It is a small house with three separate "villas" or rooms within its small compound. There are rattan outdoor furniture for you to relax on in the garden, and there's a gazebo where meals are eaten. The menu is pretty limited but the food is tasty. If you... More

If you’re interested in a great location (close to Marlioboro Road, the main artery of Yogyakarta), a home away from home, and a family away from home, I recommend this homestay. The staff is outstanding in that they are attentive, caring, and happy to accommodate your needs any way they can. Another MAJOR plus: their excellent English. I tend to... More

I spent 4 days in Yogyakarta with an extended family group comprising my spouse, 2 children (2yrs, 4yrs), my parents, brother (all from Oz), 2 aunts, uncle, and cousin (locals). We had booked out all 3 pavilions (using up all 4 extra beds) so we had the place to ourselves and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Malioboro St was only a... More
