The Park Lane would be a great place to stay if it wasn't for the horrors of Jakarta traffic. The rooms are comfortable and the staff are friendly. There is a swimming pool and a fitness centre as well as a couple of good (but quite expensive) restuarants and a bar with music. Breakfast is ok, nothing special. The hotel... More

We spent 6 nights a few weeks ago at this great hotel. We had a refurbished room on the nineth floor. It had everything you could want. It had a wired internet connection for about $8 AU per 24 hours and it was really fast!! The staff were fantastic and could not do enough for you. One day my wife... More

This hotel needs some improvement on its shapes, decor and facility. The food were superb with reasonably portion. Good sleep quality, The room needs better up-to-date equipment, to maintain its image as luxurious business hotel. Though it's clean. Service was fine. All and all, it's an average one value for money.

I got to stay at the Park Lane in Jakarta 3 times in the past 4 months for business. It's a nice hotel but the location is a bit so-so despite being part of the "Golden Triangle" area of Jakarta. The BlueBird and SilverBird cab drivers in Soekarno-Hatta are familiar with the area so its not hard to find (in... More

"Poor" rating based in the context that this is a 4-star property pretending to be 5-star. It isn't up to 5-star standard any more. And... I've stayed at the Park Lane many times over past 12 years - but won't be back because: 1) I was allocated a room under the floor that's currently being renovated. Despite repeated assurances that... All amenities are in the room. Comfortable bed though you can feel it a bit worn out. A little bit too soft for me. Reception is efficient and easy to talk to. Staff are friendly and quick to respond to housekeeping calls. Breakfast is excellent with adequate choices - all that are usual for a breakfast buffet in a restaurant... More

On the advice of a colleage, I upgraded to the Executive Floor (16th and 17th). It basically operates as an intimate "hotel within a hotel." For the extra money (about $30), the guest receives an upgraded room, great mattresses and bedding, breakfast and evening "appetizers" and cocktails (the food is ample enough for dinner), all day coffee/tea/soft drinks, etc.Free pressing... The main problem with Park Lane is the location. It is relatively central enabling reasonable access by taxi to the CBD, but in its immediate setting it is very isolated, surrounded by roads and residential units. There are no shops/ restaurants in the immediate vicinity meaning access to basic needs has to be done via taxi, or in the exorbitant... More
