I was in Jakarta for the first time, company arranged me to stay at Sheraton Media Hotel and Towers because company is SPG Preferred Planner.
The hotel, I supposed is the same as all other hotels in Jakarta, required security check-in before entering into the premise.
Very nice hotel, but surrounded by some slump area, ugly side of modern development....

In this holiday,I stayed here with my family.We stayed here cause its location,which near with the shopping area..The cleanliness was very poor,especially the carpet,and uncomfortable bed and also its sound..because it's already old..I think the management hotel need to plan for maintenance budget every several years..to fulfill the customer's expectation.

The location of the hotel is very strategic, near to Mangga Dua Area, Ancol, and Jakarta International Expo. The design is very unique with the theme of Indonesia's traditional (Javanese) style.
The service is good and the room is spacey enough for us. Most recomended if you are looking for a good quality hotel near those areas.

Do not expect the usual 5 star Sheraton standard! This hotel is old and desperately needs renovation. Got assigned to SPG Floor, with breakfast and late-checkout, still didn't meet our expectation. Basically it's an old structure Hotel, trying to offer their customers as per latest requirement. Rooms are fitted with old fittings. No wi-fi facility. Location is prime BUT area is traffic congested.
