Loved Tao Kombo. Paid 160,000rp for a bungalow (single occupancy) and at that price it was exponentially better than some of the mediocre rooms I stayed in around Indonesia. this place is a little gem. you find it down a little track which is well lit at night. dont expect air conditioning or room service but do expect quaint indonesian charm. we stayed in a rice hut with an openair bathroom. the first room had bags of charm but was extremely "rustic". we did switch to the hut next... This is a very nice place to stay. The bungalows are a little bit primitive and basic but that's what we think is charming about this place. We had the (very romantic) open bungalow. But the other bungalows do look very nice as well. And they have all the facilities you need, mosquito nets, a fan and open water bathroom... More
