I stayed for two nights in early-May 2012 at the Cosmopolitan Hotel. It was a fairly quick and inexpensive taxi ride from Hong Kong Station to this hotel. From the window of my guest room I enjoyed my high-floor view of the Happy Valley Racetrack. From this hotel, you will see many great views of the Hong Kong skyline. I... More

I travel to Vietnam numerous times a year, and like to stop for a day or two in Hong Kong. Its on my nickel, so I visit the various discount travel sites to find a hotel in the under $125 range. The same five hotels seem to always pop-up: Regal, Hotel Bonaparte, Cosmopolitan, Cosmo and Charterhouse. All are in the... More

I have stayed at Cosmopolitan, HK on a few business trips. It is bang opposite happy valley race course. Causeway bay and times square are a walk away. They have cemetary view on one side and race course view on the other. Their standard rooms are quite compact but suites are huge, thereby catering to all budgets. I have observed... More

I stayed two times at the Cosmopolitan. Once almost 4 years ago, and the last time was 10 days ago. Before getting there, I vaguely remembered the location was not convienent and that's why we usually went to another hotel right on Wanchai Road during our getaway weekends to HK. Now, I am 100% sure I will not stay there... More

Besides subway station, a public bus stop is outside the hotel carrying passengers to Wan Chai, Central, the Peak, etc, there is also a tram stop outside the main entrance... More

Let’s get this rolling by first bringing up the location. It is not ideal, but it isn’t bad either. You don’t need a taxi to get to the subway station. There is the #15 Bus at the top of the hill that takes you directly to The Peak and Times Square is a 10 minute walk. The Cosmopolitan is right... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. We have never been to HK before and found it very easy to navigate our way around the city from this location. The hotel is right next to happy valley racecourse and walkable to Times Square/Causeway Bay and the Peak. Taxis are cheap otherwise. Staff were pleasant and helpful... More
