As usual the Shangri La was at its best. My favourite hotel chain that never fails to disappoint. Check in was hassle free, the lady at reception escorting me to my room and explaining the facilities etc. The bellboy that brought my bags to my room was very helpful with local information and showed a genuine desire that I enjoyed... We enjoyed an executive suite at this wonderful hotel. Travelling with two small children having a separate room (in the living area) and two bathrooms made our three night stay in HK very enjoyable. Highlight was definately the Horizon Club, accessable all day for drinks and nibbles and for more substantial snacks during the evening. Perfect after a long day... More

Decided to splurge on this place since I was travelling with my elderly dad. Very impressive lobby. Great service throughout our stay. We booked a Horizon Club room, so we got to have breakfast at the Club. Whilst the food was good, it had very limited variety. We also made use of the free shuttle service despite it's relatively infrequent... More

After swearing never to do the long haul from Australia to Europe without a break again, we factored in a 3 night stopover in Hong Kong and chose this lovely hotel. It is everything one would expect from a Shangri La - a chain that is fast becoming our favourite. Good sized rooms, great views on the harbour side and... More

Superb hotel, great location, immaculate room & lovely comfy bed......to sum it up in a few words! As we entered our room on floor 20 the curtains slowly opened to reveal the view; it took my breath away! Drinks in the evening & breakfast were taken in the Horizon Club lounge overlooking the harbour which made for a very pleasant... More

You can definitely pay more at other hotels, but the service is difficult to beat at the Shangri-La. I've always been extremely happy with the rooms, and the service gets better with each stay. They also have a great breakfast if you want a variety between Eastern and Western food.

I had a one night layover in Hong Kong due to bad weather, and everywhere else was booked solid, especially the hotels near the airport. Very helpful staff, and when I landed in Hong Kong without a room, they honored my golden circle membership and gave me a room at standard rate. Greeted me when I arrived and everything. Staff... We always stay in a Shangri-la Hotel when in Asia. There is always a beautiful smell when you walk into any of their hotels - we're so used to it now, it like coming home! Staff can't do enough to please. If you haven't tried a Shangri-la - do it. Their resort in the Maldives is definitely worth a trip... More

The best i can remember about this hotel is the bed.... The mattress is extremely comfortable and i cant bear to leave the bed to work. The location is good with MTR just 2 min walk from hotel lobby. Shopping, food, pubs are within 10- 15 min walking distance (can be quite tiring though and end up taking a cab).... More

I stayed here for two days on business. I had requested a king size room when I made my reservation however when I got there at 1am in the morning they said I could only have a double bed and there were no Kings available. Eventually they relented and upgraded me at no extra cost. Apart from that service was... More
