My expectations were high for his property considering its location and rate to which I was highly disappointed from the beginning but kept wandering if things would improve - sadly the best part of my experience was the airport car at departure which I had to pay for on top of everything else. The location is magnificent although what would... More

I stayed at Hullett House for 2 nights in November, the eve of my wedding and my wedding night. I live in HK already but of course we couldnt stay together on our our wedding eve so we needed a hotel (and since its for me a super nice one). I really wanted to stay in a suite of course,... More

Stayed one night at Hullett House in Hong Kong. Arrived at the entrance that was e-mailed to me. There was no one there and if you don't read the really small sign telling you to call up when you arrive on the 1st floor you will not be able to check in at reception. The hotel is in a historic... Hong Kong loves demolishing its heritage buildings, so the the Victorian-era marine police headquarters at the tip of the Kowloon peninsula being made into a hotel is a welcome development. Hullett House has five restaurants each one is wonderful. The massive suites are a bit sparse but magnificent, with little more than a bed, wooden floorboards, a wall-mounted TV and... More

My wife and I stayed in the Stanley Suite, which was gorgeous - a large room with high ceilings, wooden floorboards, a king size bed, large outdoor terrace and fabulous decor. We also tried out the cantonese restaurant, Loong Toh Yuen, which i highly recommend - the food was great but the chinoiserie interior is what really sold it for... More

The venue, decor, food, service, friendliness of staff and general ambience all an absolute delight! The attention to detail knows no bounds and I plan to return on my next visit to Hong Kong. I cannot recommend it highly enough. A big Thank You to the Hullett House team for making our stay so memorable.

In a city that seems to keeps its older history tucked away, and where the modern and 'now' rules, Hullett House offers a taste of colonial splendour mixed with taseful innovation that is guarenteed to delight, impress and charm the visitor. The building was once the police headquarters. Built in the late 19th century, it has a courtyard in a... More

We recently celebrated our Anniversary with a stay at Hullett House and were delighted to fine such a rare boutique hotel experience in Hong Kong. This heritage building has been beautifully restored, and with just 10 hotel rooms, each has been designed with a different Asian flavour. Our Lido Suite was decadent black and gold, lovely balcony overlooking the Cultural... More

We've been fortunate to have lived in Hong Kong for the last few years but, sadly, have just left. We decided to spend our last night in a special hotel and we considered the usual options - Peninsula, Mandarin Oriental, Conrad etc - and had we chosen one of them they would, I'm sure, have been excellent. But we decided... More

We stayed there for our honeymoon and it couldn't have been a better place to live: the hotel is the oldest building of HK and now a superb boutique hotel which has kept all the charm of its history and heritage, while being very modern and artistic in its interior design. Huge rooms/suites, terrace, it is extremely quiet, you feel... More
