Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The location of the hostel is good. Lift/Elevator is available 24 hours so no need to worry after having a good night life. The room is okay not that extravagant, what will you expect on a quite cheap deal. It is recommended on travelers with tight budget.

Room is small but clean; Toilet is also small with no lock to the bathroom door; hot water was scheduled; we were advised ahead of the schedule so that was no problem; they provided shower gel; you have to request for towel as they do not normally provide; hot & cold drinking water is free, you just have to get it from the hallway. Staff was accommodating and very friendly. if you are on a budget, this hostel is very good; with location accessible to MTR and walking distance to most tourist areas in tsim sha tsui; will still stay when i go back to hong kong.

An aesthetically designed luxury. A visual treat for you if you love heritage architect. Nice and spacious rooms with seventh heaven view from the room. Staff were courteous and services were all top class. A must stay if you are in Macao.

We actually visited this place last November 2014 but the timeline is disabled for year 2014 so I had to choose the earliest date available which is May 2016. Anyway, terrible hostel! Location is great since it's near TST station. But I personally felt this is not safe for ladies travelling alone. My friend who is a local advised me to lock my doors everytime I take a shower. There was a baby cockroach on our bed, the room smelled unpleasant. The shower area leaked water in our room. Room is too small I had no elbow room. I know that there are decent hostels around HK, this just isn't one of them. It's absolutely cheap, but I prefer quality over quantity.

I choosed that hostel because of good location and I wanted to save my money. There is so rude staff, and i did not feel comfortable on this room. Shower room there is a terrible. But you can feel lifestyle of Hong Kong. If someday I will go to Hong Kong again I would not like to stay on place like that... better to spend more money and stay in much better hotel/hostel than this.

When it comes to location, its an excellent. Its near tsim sha shui station, near bus station, many restaurants. When it comes to the hostel itself, the room have a lot of dust. You can see on the light full of dust. Our skin got itchy bec of the dust. On our second day, i asked the receptionist about the clogged toilet, he said he will fix it but until our last day (5th day), our toilet didnt fix. we are having hard time to poop bec of the clogged toilet. I noticed also that when u have complain, the receptionist always have reasons, he dont want to accept complains from clients. It sounds rude to me. I suggest that u always have to be nice at all times. You need to listen first, before you speak and reasoning out.

Some hostels are an amazing value in a great location. This one just isn't. Hong Kong hotels are not that expensive and, while there is nothing wrong with this hostel, you can do much better anywhere on the Kowloon side.
