We were checked in at this hotel for 3 nights as part of a tour group. The room and bathroom were really spacious compared to other Marco Polo hotels we've stayed in. For me, the mattress was not that hard as the others would comment on other hotel mattresses in China (I'm used to an orthopedic type of mattress). Bathroom... More

not a lot to do up north where the parkside is located. its close to the bird nest and other olympic sites, but no entertainment close by, just some standard restaurants. service is soso, took a while until someone showed up to bring the handle that allows to open the windows (you gotta ask for that) rooms okay but a... Thank you so much for your feedback! It is always great to hear from our guest. Due to safety purposes, we do not leave our window handles in the room, as for the slow response, I'll be sure to inform the relevant departments abt the response time to guest's requests. We will be sure to look into this matter and... More

I was so thankful for the care and time given to my request to trace a lost pair of glasses on a flight from Kunming to Beijing. The personal attention of Nicholas Wang was vital in their recovery. He arranged everything! He and his team do an excellent job in customer care. This was our second stay at the hotel,... More

I'm a regular customer of this hotel, because I don't have choice as it's close to my company's BJ office, but everytime I am desappointed in such a poor management. I can't believe this hotel has been running for a few years already and experiencing such bad time each of my stays. So I would say that executive rooms and... More

Stayed here for a number of weeks for business while in Beijing and although the room itself is quite nice and spacious, only stay at this hotel if your destination is somewhere around the Olympic park AND if you can speak Mandarin. Room: nice and spacious, although make sure you ask for non-smoking room. Higher floors have nicer rooms. Internet... More

A 5 star wannabe hotel located in a place that is far from everything in Beijing except the bird's nest. Very poorly managed you may spend half an hour in a a 2 persons cue waiting to be attended or you may have the maid knocking at the door at 730 am with the do not disturb sign shown! Not... More

I was shocked by how nice this hotel was given the excellent price we received, it was within a stone's throw of the "Birdcage" Olympic village. Around were a few restaurants and other interesting places, my view from the 15th floor was breathtaking before the smog rolled in... This was chosen by my Chinese hosts and it as an excellent... I only stayed here one night, but was very pleased. The elite member breakfast is plentiful, and the rooms are beautiful. I was not able to go for a run during my stay, but I am told the Olympic site is only about 3K away.

We stayed here for three nights during a private tour of China in September 2011 with Oriental Travel of London. The Hotel is situated on a wide and busy road but the hotel has a slip road for taxis etc. The nearest subway is only a 10 minute walk away and is convenient for the Lama and Confucius Temples, the... It was our first trip to Beijing and I wanted so much to see the Great wall, We stayed here May 2010 ( this is kinda late for a review ) but nonetheless I still recall the experience. The location was great, just along a main road, the rooms were big and comfortable. Though I was with my husband, we... More
