We booked Junior Suite rooms but even they were very outdated. It was very hard to reach this hotel by taxi because it is located on one-way narrow side street. Only good thing to say - breakfast was quite good but restaraunt itself was not cozy. SPA is extremely overpriced. The cheapest massage costs 400 RMB. Staff can't speak English... More

Usual Chinese hotel, hard bed and bad plumbing but We had a decent sized room, internet and was comfortable. Quiet location down a hutong. Subway not far and very convenient for food. Staff was ok and will stay again.

There is only one good thing about this hotel - location, in the heart of Dongzhimen area, close to both the old and the new city centers. And now for all the rest - the rooms are filthy, and bathrooms smell of sewage, especially after taking a shower. Stains on the carpet, which are old, shabby and outdated. The service... More

This was my second time to Beijing, my first time for a personal trip. I selected this hotel based on the location, great value, and other reviews. Overall I was satisfied with the hotel. I thought it would be a little cleaner and the exterior to be a little nicer based on the pictures and reviews. The hotel is located... More

Great location down one of the many hutongs close to Lama Temple, Forbidden City etc. Also the subway is close by. This is a 3 star hotel so there are no fancy trimmings However rooms and bathrooms are clean and there is free drinking water (2 small bottles per day),Basic breakfast was included in the tariff. Staff are very helpful... More

My agent book this hotel for me and I was very pleased with it. It was within a hutong and living among the normal beijing citizen. There is a school nearby and you can see children going to sch early in the morning. There is a restaurant at the entrance of the road towards the hotel and it sells great... More

This was my seventh trip to China and the first one I felt I had a good idea of what the country and especially Beijng was like. The hotel is in a hutong that is always filled with people living their lives. Not unlike a farm village or working class neighborhood in the US, it is a place where people... More

This is a very good hotel for the money you are spending. It is located in a hutong neighbourhood next to the 'Ghost Street' where dozens of restaurants can be found. Splendid food can be enjoyed. The Drum and Bell Tower and the adjacent hutong neighbourhood are in walking distance as well. So is a station of subway line 5.... More

It looks a bit shabby. Breakfast buffet was good. Rooms were ok. Nothing much to rave about. No complementary drinking water. I wouldn't stay in this hotel again.
