A nice little hotel with an awesome staff. Clean enough with private baths and a good buffet breakfast. Beds are tradtional Chinese.

Horrible experience. The place was used as a quarantine hotel for foreigners during the summer of 2009. While I was there the AC was turned off and the toilets did not flush in many of the rooms. Hotel is relatively old; carpet in room is old and dirty looking. Toilet is separate from bathroom which is inconvenient as you are unable to wash your hands should someone else be in the bathroom. Stayed here for the World Wushu championships in 2007. Rooms and service are so-so but at least the buffet was good.

Stayed here twice in april 09. It is a long way from downtown Beijing, however walking hte neighborhood parks gave a foreigner an insiders view of China Life. Rooms were a little dated and internet access was terrible!
