Horrible experience. The place was used as a quarantine hotel for foreigners during the summer of 2009. While I was there the AC was turned off and the toilets did not flush in many of the rooms. Beds were uncomfortable. Two-star interior with rotten fruit put out. Notice the mirrors in the room are tightly sealed and the "interesting" small...

Hotel is relatively old; carpet in room is old and dirty looking. Toilet is separate from bathroom which is inconvenient as you are unable to wash your hands should someone else be in the bathroom. Kettle in room is old and rusty. No complimentary tea/ coffee. Amendities were replaced everyday.
Additional bed came in the form of a mattress which...

Stayed here for the World Wushu championships in 2007. Rooms and service are so-so but at least the buffet was good.

I took a school football team to a tournament in Beijing and the organisers picked out this hotel for all the teams (boys' football, girls' football, girls' hockey) to stay in. It was great for us as we had a coach organised each day and a set itinerary for the 10 day stay.
We were given rooms all together so...

Just this date returned from 1 week in Beijing staying at Yanxiang hotel. I have rated this average based on the fact that the hotel is undergoing significant renovations presently which means there is NO POOL , DAY SPA or GYM. U can have massage if you want renovations are not noisy or cause to much inconvenience. The hotel is...

We have stayed in this hotel 4 summers in a row- one trip we were stuck in the midst of renovations and we were in an older room but more often than not the rooms are awesome, western toilets (yay!!) the lobby is gorgeous, there is (usually) a Subway Restaurant on the property, the employees are very sweet and kind,...
