Stayed here for around ten days. Most things are good but not the room heating/air conditioning. Simply in the winter months, including March when I stayed, the unit in the room will only give out hot air (very hot!), despite setting it to 'cold' and the thermostat to around 15 degrees C. It seems you won't get any cool air... More

Stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. The location is way off the city central and not very conveniently located. The shops are limited around the area, and the nearest mini mart is across the road at the petrol station. There were a few street vendors selling fruits just right outside the hotel. The rooms are average and the lighting... More

The hotel is not very central. The service was very poor, the rooms were filthy, the carpets were filthy, the lighting in the room was very bad. There was no hot water and the problem was not fixed even though we asked for them to attend to it. More

Was booked in to this hotel by my Chinese business partners. Unfortunately they were not aware of just how poor the service was here. We arrived and found a dark, gloomy room, with airconditioning that was ineffective, unles you like a freezer! We asked for a hotel with a gym / fitness centre, and lo and behold, when my partner... Very limited English was spoken. It was dark and the swimming pool was dirty and sauna cold. My partner ordered gin and tonic and it was served cold with little gin and too much tonic. When asked to add more gin and ice, the waitress had to call a couple of people to get her to understand. The location was... More

Room is of decent size and cleanliness. Staffs were friendly but limited spoken English except for one or two staffs but all tried to be very helpful nevertheless. The indoor supposedly hot-spring water swimming pool is cold. Closeby is the Beijing Antique Market and the infamous Panjiaoyuan Flea Market and there is a 'Halal' restaurant a few hundred meters away... More

I went on a tour of Shanghai, Xian and Shanghai. This hotel was great. It had a beautiful lobby and great hotel bar. The rooms were nice and the service in the hotel was excellent. They had the best breakfast buffet of all the hotels I stayed in in China. I would compare it to a nice Marriott or Hilton... More

This is what I consider a typical international hotel. The beds were very large, albeit incredibly hard. If you live in the U.S. try sleeping on a carpeted floor to get roughly the same feel. The room itself was satsifactory. The television was missing the power button and remote didn't work very well. There were tons of light switches everywhere,... More
