Stayed in mid 2011. Nice rooms, great service, great helpful concierge staff. Cute swimming pool. Expensive bar. Comparing it to the quality of other hotels in the area that are half the price - it just doesn't earn what its asking in $$$ value. As an alternative to the over-priced bar and restaurant, trot 20 metres down the road to... More

After travelling to China for over 5 years and staying at some very good hotels, even where staff don't speak english yet provide exceptional service, this was a dissappointment. This was my first time in Beijing, and i was not there for business. The room was old, very tired, small and noisy, its window opened to the inside of the... More

Excellent staff, very helpful. The hotel arranged a driver for us for the day who took us to 4 tourist attractions, this was approx. 100 UK pounds for 2 and we thought this was good value. The driver was charming and friendly as were all the hotel staff. Hotel comfortable and clean. We had no complaints and enjoyed our stay.... More

One star for value. One star for being clean. Half a star for trying to be a high-end hotel, but does not succeed. No free internet, the first room, there was no internet at all. Second room charged for use of the desktop computer. It is not close to attractions. It is six long blocks to the shopping area. The... More

This hotel lived up to its promises, apart from one thing. We had a 'hot deal' from booking.com, with free internet. Upon arrival the hotel tried to deny this, and asked 98 rmb per day for internet. When I showed the booking confirmation, they claimed we were not allowed to use the desktop in the room for free, but only... More

The location is reasonably good with many sights and the Metro within easy walking distance. The service was good with the exception of the gym and the swimming pool where you are just handed a towel and left alone to do as you please, not too safe in the case of the pool. Breakfast is the usual Chinese mixture of... More

We stayed in Prime Hotel and requested the hotel transport car rental on December 2011 for our family of four, for the tour of Great Wall and Olympic stadium. We visited Great Wall in the morning, and with the hotel driver recommendation, we stopped at one of the road side restaurant. We had invited the driver to eat with us,... More

We were advised that this hotel is a superb location in Beijing. One can walk the Wangfujing Lu to Forbidden City and other locations nearby. Great for exercise and the shopping malls. They were right! We stayed here at the Prime Hotel on Wangfujing Lu for 4 nights. It was magic! A lot of TAers say it is expensive. well... More

Well located for Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square and shopping. The hotel is large with an international corporate feel and, although there was an abundance of dark marble, it didn't seem particularly dated. The room was modern, large and clean and the breakfast was good. Only stayed for two nights on a three day return trip from the UK so didn't... More
