I reserved this hotel based on reviews I saw on TripAdvisor and Hotels.com. As promised, I had a clean room, private bath, and comfortable bed close to the Beijing subway. Location was great. For the rate I paid, I cannot imagine getting an equally clean room closer to the heart of the city. It didn’t matter though, since I could... More

The IC Hotel is a great little hotel in a seedy lane way in the backstreets of Beijing. It caters specifically to western travelers with great hotel staff who offer quality advice and help. The accommodation and facilities give you what you pay for but with a funky, kitschy twist. The hotel's decor borderlines on over-the-top but is all in... More

If you are looking for an original courtyard hotel in a true hutong, then you will enjoy this hotel. Don't expect a lot of luxury amenities. This is a pretty basic establishment, with few frills. Would be considered a budget hotel if not for the hutong experience. More

I would recommend this hotel. If first time in Beijing then arrive by taxi as otherwise it could be difficult to find. It is situated in the Hutong area and is very convenient for Andingmen subway station. The entrance to the subway is on the other side of a busy main road. The stay in the hotel was for 4... More

Firstly, I do not normally give poor ratings unless the particular property I am reviewing has done something really wrong. This is my second time staying in a Hutong in Beijing and as I was traveling with my family I wanted to give them a true Beijing experience by staying in a traditional style accommodation rather than your usual hotel.... I had a wonderful time at this hotel and I can say it was the best hotel of my trip. The staff are really great and super helpful - they really do go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and give you travel tips. I can recommend the Chinese breakfast too - it was superb. Other meals... More

The hotel is well hidden in the middle of a hutong with a not-so-great location for travelling around the city. But if you are willing to walk a while and spend time finding a taxi, then it is worth the money you pay. It's pretty and has a lovely atmosphere. Sound travel _really_well_ from the lobby into the rooms but... More
