Access is strange, via an alley way. This is normal design for hotels in the very old neighborhoods in Beijing. Just off nan lu gu zong and near drum tower - great location. Nice rooms especially rooms like 601 with bath and shower. Mercy on the front desk was so helpful - the men not so much ! Some beds a bit hard but as we left there was a delivery of mattresses !

Yes the lobby is very traditional Chinese, lovely decorated beatiful furniture and stuff, BUT the rooms are also traditional hutong hotel style. The rooms are ok size but try to get a room as high as possible if you want some kind of view. Traditionally they build a building and don't take care of it therefore it decays over time.... More
