I'm a new convert to the Home Inn hotels -- they are all over China, especially Beijing, and provide cheap, consistently clean rooms that can be booked online at homeinns.com (I'm not sure if they have English on their website -- use Google Language, it's worth it.)
At Shuangjing, the elevator was a little small, but the service was courteous...
