It was a complicated experience, the level of English in the hotel is very limited... only a few receptionists are able to have a conversation in English. Even simple tasks become a big effort and require a lot of time, from paying a drink to asking for a chinese address.

As my title suggest this is located exactly outside the gates of Peking University. If you want to see Tiananmen or other landmarks then it's probably not a good choice.
