Here on business, I booked and confirmed two rooms for colleagues at the Sai Rose Hotel. Upon arrival with those colleagues who had just arrived from a long flight from China, we were disappointed to learn that the hotel had received a booking from a 'lucrative' business and had promptly cancelled ours.

A double room is 40 euro's a night, the rooms are dirty, the bathroom is dirty, the owner is a very unfriendly person. If there ever should be a fire in this hotel, you will be in big problems, de ceiling and everything is made from a horrible plastic chinese kitch.
Location is good, near to the citycentre, everything nearby....

We stayed here out of desperation as we arrived by train (which had broken down prior to reaching Mombasa) and the Hotel we wanted was booked out.
