Duma camp is without a doubt the best place we stayed in all of Kenya. You really feel like you're in the middle of the bush-hippos snorting around the tent and Hyenas howling through the night. You don't even have to actually go into the Mara to see amazing wildlife, it's all so close by. The tents are fantastic, everything... More

Duma Camp in the Maasai Mara was the experience of a lifetime. A simple and intimate camp with only 6 tents in the bush whose owner Jennifer makes you feel like you are at home and part of her family from the start. The camp is operated by authentic Maasai dressed in their traditional clothing. The staff is genuinely happy... More

Trip of a lifetime made special by jennifer and her boys. This is the only way to visit the Maasai mara. The accomadation is simple, comfortable and in keeping with the surroundings. The food was to die for. Early game drives came complete with a picnic breakfast served within feet of the animals. Walking distance to the river which has... More

Myself, my wife and 10 year old son stayed at Duma Camp for 3 nights in February and had a wonderful time. The size of the camp (only 6 tents) makes it an incredibly personal experience and the enthusiasm of the owner Jennifer ensures that it is an experience not to be forgotten. The all-Mara staff team were really friendly,... More

Having been many times to Duma Camp, I highly recommend this simple, and comfortable camp in Lemek Conservancy. The service is excellent, the food very nice, the tents most comfortable. What makes this camp quite unique is the fact that there are only six tents and therefore you almost choose your activities 'a la carte', go on morning and evening... More

We have just spent four days with Jennifer at Duma Camp, and it was quite an experience. We were a party of six - two adults with boys aged 10 and 7, a sister-in-law and a Granny (aged 80!). The staff were brilliant, nothing too much trouble (including, bows and arrows, and spear-making etc with our sons in between drives),... More

Four of us have just spent 3 nights at Duma Camp in the Lemek Conservancy in the Masai Mara eco system. What an experience! We South Africans (who are quite used to the safari experience) were overawed by the personal attention (the whole camp to ourselves, Jennifer picked us up and entertained us with her stories, the staff could not... Nestling away in the North Conservancy to the NW of the Masai Mara is the delightful little camp. Duma Camp is one of the last original bush camps still available in Kenya. Forget your Lodges with inedible food on the buffet and go for comfort, style and delicious home cooked meals served at your table. Nothing is too much trouble... More

We recently returned from our second trip to Kenya and Duma Camp, we can't wait for the third. The camp is owned by Jennifer and together with her staff nothing is too much trouble. The camp consists of 5 tents (one is Jennifers) they all have a toilet and shower, so although you are camping you are not 'roughing' it.... More
