We traveled as an extended family of four adults and four children ranging from 7 - 13 years old. Having stayed at Little Governor's and other camps, we had high expectations of The Fairmont Mara and they were exceeded! The tents are the most luxurious I have experienced, with kings or large doubles, and just next to the river so... More

We spent 3 nights at the Fairmont Mara Safari Club and absolutely loved it. The grounds we impecably kept and our tent was even better take care of by our new freind Joseph. I have never stayed anywhere nevermind a tent where we were catered to as much as here! The game drives with Wilson were beyond words, we saw... More

We just came back from a three-night stay at the Fairmont Mara Safari Club in Kenya and had an amazing experience. This is a truly unique and very memorable way to explore the Masai Mara whilst enjoying a luxury stay in a (permanent) tent. We arrived from Nairobi late afternoon by private charter (definitely recommend flying there) and on the... More

Our permanent tent was right on the Mara River which was full of hippos. They talked to each other in various "voices" all the time. The Lodge was very nice. The setting was perfect. The people and the service were great. I also enjoyed swimming in the beautiful pool.

My husband and I traveled to Kenya as a part of a "tour of Africa" to celebrate the New Year and stayed at the Fairmont Masai Mara for 3 nights. We arrived mid-day from Nairobi (I would recommend flying) and got to the camp in time for lunch. There are twice daily game drives which are 2 and 3 hours... More

We stayed at the Fairmont for 2 nights and it was absolutely memorable. The property is fairly large, and the food is exceptional. These guys really know how to spice food properly and every meal was great. The fireplace in the main building is perfect for a romantic cuddle. We were fortunate enough to do 4 game drives (2 evenings... More

This was our first time in Mara Safari Club but definitely not the last. We spent here two nights with our two 12 and 15 year children but should have spent more if time allowed. We shared a family tent of four on the river bank. It was all fantastic: very personal service, great food and the nature all around including... More

This is not my first visit to the Mara Safari Club, and it remains one of my top holiday destinations. The accommodation is faultless - clean, spacious and every need catered for. The catering would give any michelin-starred restaurant a run for its money. The staff cannot do enough for you (especially William - Housekeeping Manager). Great location on banks... More

There are several upscale lodge and safari camp style hotels to chose from in this spectacular Masai Mara Game Reserve Area: I highly recommend The Fairmont Mara Safari Club for a number of reasons. The tented bungalows are extremely comfortable and decorated with local Masai style furnishings. The tent material is quite sturdy and has several screened openings for great... More

I won't repeat the many other 5 star reviews here but suffice to say this is a memorable romantic getaway destination. Excellent value and high standard. In the night you'll drift off under canvas surrounded by a sleepy safari soundscape. You could almost be listening to a 'sound effects of the bush' recording. The deluxe tents with inside & outside... More
